KeyBridge Declares a Penny WAR!

Recently, Kayla Howell, KeyBridge Regional Director of Business Development, received an email from a business associate about a campaign that his daughter, Ainsley, is involved in to help raise funds for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS). Ainsley knows all too well what blood cancer patients go through.
In April of 2018, Ainsley was diagnosed with stage-4 Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. She completed 6 months of rigorous treatment when she lost all of her hair. However, with support and great strength, Ainsley went into remission just as she was learning of LLS and everything for which the organization stands.
The mission of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society is to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease, and myeloma, and to improve the quality of life for patients and their families. They exist to find cures and ensure access to treatments for blood cancer patients.
Ainsley was chosen to participate in the LLS 2019 Students of the Year program; a seven-week initiative in which select high school students from around the country participate in a fundraising competition to benefit LLS. Each dollar is a vote in Ainsley’s mission to become Student of the Year for the Toledo district.
Penny WAR for LLS
On Ainsley’s behalf, KeyBridge employees are waging a WAR! A WAR to fight blood cancers! A PENNY WAR!!

- Each team with a designated bowl for collecting money
- Gain points by adding pennies & bills to your bowl
- Lower other teams total by adding silver coins to their bowls

For example: I am on team B. I want to put the pennies and bills in team B’s bowl to gain points. I want to put all the silver coins in the other team’s bowls to make them lose points.
This WAR starts today and continues through March 6th; an entire month! The KeyBridge Get Hooked! team encourages everyone to participate and support this worthy cause as well as helping your team win! There will be a FABULOUS PRIZE for the winning team!!!
