It’s important to work toward resolving your account—outstanding medical bills may affect your credit rating and ability to obtain credit in the future. If you owe an amount that you may not be able to immediately afford, know that you have options.

We typically discuss the following with patients we serve:

  • Validate Your Balance

    As a consumer, you have the right to validate the balance you owe. You may do this by calling the provider directly, or you may ask us for proof of debt in writing within 30 days upon receiving your first validation notice.

  • Installment Agreements

    If your financial situation prohibits you from paying your balance, we may be able to establish a reasonable payment plan to help you resolve your account.

  • Budget to Pay Off

    Patients often find that reprioritizing their budget and managing non-essential spending can facilitate a faster pay off of their medical bills.
